Backend + Cloud +
a bit of everything

I'm a software engineer with 2.5+ years of experience across backend development, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering. I've shipped production systems at a global logistics giant (FedEx via Mphasis), an AI startup (Inerspect AI), and a social-impact platform (Humanitarians AI).

My stack centers on Python (FastAPI/Flask), Go, and Java (Spring Boot), with heavy use of AWS and GCP, Terraform for IaC, and Kubernetes for orchestration. I'm comfortable owning the full delivery lifecycle — from schema design to CI/CD to Grafana dashboards.

Currently completing my M.S. in Information Systems at Northeastern University. Outside work I play tennis and contribute to open-source tooling.

Where I've Worked

Nov 2025 – Present
Software Engineer
Humanitarians AI · Boston, MA Current
  • Built and scaled Jobsekr, a full-stack job discovery platform (FastAPI + PostgreSQL) aggregating 1,000+ listings across 5+ sources into a centralized API.
  • Engineered automated data pipelines to ingest, normalize, and store structured job data with near real-time scheduled updates.
  • Cut query response times by ~40% through API redesign and targeted PostgreSQL indexing strategies, supporting concurrent user load.
  • Containerized with Docker and implemented CI/CD via GitHub Actions for consistent, repeatable deployments.
Aug 2025 – Nov 2025
Cloud Engineer Intern
Inerspect AI · Boston, MA
  • Built a Python WebSocket service for real-time workflows, cutting response latency by 80% vs. the prior Lambda-based architecture.
  • Automated the full deployment workflow for SpectraSeek/SpectraHire using Terraform + GitHub Actions + AWS ECS/Fargate, improving release consistency across environments.
  • Integrated AWS Secrets Manager + DynamoDB + Lambda for secure config management and reliable inter-service communication.
  • Set up CloudWatch + Grafana monitoring with Slack-routed alerts, accelerating incident response and reducing MTTR.
May 2022 – May 2023
Software Engineer II
Mphasis Ltd. · FedEx EMEA (Client) · Bangalore, India
  • Dockerized 8+ microservices for FedEx EMEA workflows and supported Kubernetes deployment on AWS across dev/stage/prod environments.
  • Enhanced DeployFlow CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), increasing deployment frequency from bi-weekly → weekly and improving release confidence.
  • Built and maintained 12+ Grafana + Splunk dashboards (ObservabilityHub) with performance alerts for proactive incident monitoring.
  • Worked on Kafka event-driven architecture (ScanStream) during monolith → microservices migration, improving shipment event throughput and availability.
Jun 2021 – Apr 2022
Software Engineer I
Mphasis Ltd. · India
  • Developed and maintained Spring Boot microservices supporting shipping and workflow automation for internal teams.
  • Wrote 100+ unit and integration tests, improving build stability and reducing regression failures during deployments.
  • Strengthened backend service communication by resolving API integration issues and reducing recurring workflow failures.
